On the 15th of April, Turkey successfully launched its first indigenous designed and manufactured high-resolution Earth Observation (EO) satellite, called the IMECE, into space. The satellite will orbit the planet at an altitude of 680 kilometres, from where it will be able to take high-resolution images covering an area of 16 square kilometres.
CES is proud to have manufactured and supplied structural composite parts for the IMECE Imaging Satellite, which was launched into space by SpaceX with a Falcon 9 rocket.
CES also produces high strength carbon composite tubular strut parts, large carbon composite structures carrying sensitive payloads and high strength carbon composite panels with tight tolerances.
